Its strong points:
Lightweight: At just 4290 g, this hedge trimmer is a real lightweight, making it easy to manoeuvre and control. It offers optimal user comfort, even when working for longer periods of time.
Ideal for large hedges: This hedge trimmer features a double action blade, 690 mm in length, making it ideal for large hedges. The longer the blade, the more you can cut in just one swift movement.
Cutting capacity: With this 690 mm long blade and a cutting length of 610 mm you can effortlessly cut through branches of up to 24 mm thick. This cutting capacity is partially determined by the distance between the blades. It's best to use a saw or lopping shears for thicker branches.
Silent and ecological: Because this hedge trimmer works on electricity, it produces less noise, requires less maintenance and is the more ecological choice compared to a fuel-powered hedge trimmer.
Double action blade, laser cut: The double action blade consists of two separate blades moving in opposite directions. In addition, they are laser cut blades and provide better cutting results.
Tips & Tricks:
Most hedges and shrubs experience a first growth spurt during the spring. So, it’s best to give them their first trim before the beginning of summer, between mid-May and mid-June. Fast-growing species can also use an extra trim after the summer, between the end of August and mid-September. Always cut your hedges on a dry, cloudy day, so they don't get sunburned.
Start at the bottom of the hedge and work your way up. It's also best to begin cutting the hedge closest to your home and continue working away from the house. It is especially important when using electric hedge shears with a cord. Cut the hedge in a slight pyramid shape, making the bottom a little wider than the top to ensure every part of the hedge receives enough sunlight.
