Save on tap water and spray your garden with rainwater! Thanks to this battery-powered rain barrel pump by Powerplus, you no longer have to lug around heavy watering cans. With the help of a drain hose, this device extracts the rainwater directly from the rain barrel and brings it to where it’s needed.
On a fully charged battery, this pump operates around 30 minutes. At a maximum water flow of 1500 l/hour, that’s plenty of time to water your garden in an environmentally and budget-friendly way, or even to fill a small swimming pool. The battery can be fully charged in just one hour.
Clean water: This 12 V submersible pump can be placed in a rain barrel or cistern, to then deliver clean or slightly contaminated water to a maximum height of 11 m.
Dry run protection: The rain barrel pump shuts down automatically when there’s an insufficient amount of water. This prevents damage to the pump caused by dry running.
Filter: The built-in dirt filter prevents blockages and ensures a longer lifetime for the pressure pump.
Overload protection: The overload protection prevents the electric motor from overheating and becoming overloaded. It automatically shuts off the motor when there’s a steep increase in temperature.
Easy to move: The pump is battery-powered, which means it can be used anywhere. Is your rain barrel all the way at the back of your garden, far away from any power sockets? No problem at all for this cordless pump.
If the pump is moved regularly, it’s best to clean it after each use with clean water. Dirt particles in the pump’s housing can be removed easily with a jet of water. If the pump remains in one place, it’s enough to thoroughly clean it every three months.
